About Chrissie Designs Jewellery

Chrissie Webber's designer jewellery is handmade sterling silver jewellery, silver jewellery, fashion jewellery, costume jewellery, gemstone jewellery, bridal jewellery and wedding jewellery. Using silver wire work techniques we create unique filigree jewellery designs integrating semi-precious stones (healing stones and healing crystals). Our creations include one off designs of pendants, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bridal wear, tiaras and hair jewellery. Chrissie's loves and joys in life are designing unusual jewellery, her family, friends, cats and chocolate!

The Ancient Skill of Wire Wrapping
Wire wrapping is an ancient skill dating back to the time of the Pharaohs and beyond. It uses neither solder nor glue; just the skills of weaving, twisting and sculpting different types, shapes and thicknesses of wire. Each piece of jewellery, even if it is repeated, turns out different to another due to the fact they are individually hand made. Their individuality is what we love about the designs and we hope you  love them too.

How Chrissie Got Started...
Chrissie Design Jewellery - The first pieceChrissie WebberSo what was it, after nearly 25 years in management training and executive coaching, that set Chrissie on her journey of discovery to unlock her creative potential? Well, she is lucky enough to have a wonderful friend who buys her 'experiences' and not presents for birthdays and Christmases. One of these experiences was a one day course in jewellery making where she experimented with wire wrapping. By the end of the day she had designed and made a necklace, ring and earrings and was hooked!

That jewellery course was in August 2010 and since then she has been designing and making jewellery and wedding jewellery. As a member of the Association of Contemporary Jewellers her designs were exhibited in the Riverfront Theatre, Newport in 2010. In 2011 and 2012 several pieces were accepted into the Cardiff Design Festival and were exhibited at Cardiff Central LibraryThe Wales Millennium Centre and Craft in the Bay.

In 2012 Chrissie Designs Jewellery will be exhibited at the Winter Exhibition in the presigeous Oriel Ynys Mon, Anglesey, North Wales.

Bespoke Designs

Here at Chrissie Designs we love to take on commission work. Bespoke designs that use your own ideas or colour schemes, or to match other jewellery or bridal gown beadwork, form a large part of our work. If you like a design on the website but want it in another colour or type of wire... we are here to help make it for you.

And that's not all... If when the commissioned work is completed and you are not 100% happy with it, you do not have to purchase it. That's our guarantee to you, as we want all our customers to love their Chrissie Designs Jewellery. We will either refund your money or make a new design for you.
